Masonic Hall, Market Hill was used by the Grenville Lodge of the Free Masons to hold their meetings from 1890, prior to this date they had used the town hall. The building was the property of one of the members, Brother John Marshall, a builder. He made the necessary adaptations to the premises and leased it to the lodge. When the lease expired in 1911, and with the prospect of a much higher rental on the property, the lodge decided to move to Yeomanry Hall in Hunter Street.

The building is currently used as a surgery.
